Samsung Galaxy Tab has come onto the market originally for around $700.00 to buy the device outright and many providers did not give much in the ways of discount to give incentive to lock you into a multi-year contract. Verizon is mixing it up in the USA so you can get the current generation best iPad alternative for only $300 on a 2 year contract. This is the first time pricing for the Android 2.2 Froyo clad Galaxy Tab has been sliced at Verizon, but the Tab has been experiencing such cuts for months on other carriers. However with the new cut in contract pricing by Verizon they still don't offer the lowest price, T-Mobile offers the Tab for $249.99 (w/ $50.00 mail-in-rebate) with a 2 year contract. The main feature of new point-and shoot digital camera is Wi-Fi-ready that capable users upload their picture or video directly to online service such as Facebook, YouTube, Cyworld, Picasa, Me2day, and e-mail.
Samsung SH100 digital camera will allows users to control camera (like take pictures) via smartphone, which is support for Samsung Galaxy S smartphone only and require download the Remote Viewfinder app. It is comes in three flavors choice – Black, Silver, and Red. The Samsung SH100 point-and shoot digital camera has features up to 14.2MP resolution image sensor, 5x optical zoom, 720p HD video recording and playback, and 26mm wide-angle lens. It is the fact that the specifications of the device also seem to outline a new feature relating to Apple's future video calling standard – FaceTime. This new feature is touted as FaceTime HD.
Also as 9to5Mac points out, could this also mean FaceTime HD video calls coming to the next-gen iPad, iPhone and iPod touch too? That we'll surely find out next week, on March 2nd, when Apple finally unveils iPad 2 to the world. |

This is NOT intended to access PSN online nor does it allow it. In fact, it is aimed at preventing accidental updating to 3.56 firmware.
From the developer's blog: 3.56 Version Spoofer does exactly what it says and can restore back to 3.55 if needed. It was never intended to allow PSN access but to stop the system from updating to 3.56 (I made it shortly after KaKaRoToKS had his false alarm). Microsoft is currently near Milestone 2 completion for Windows 8 but a leaked screenshot on Wednesday hints at one of the minor improvements in the company's next-generation Windows. Zukona, famous for providing genuine and accurate Windows beta information, has leaked a screenshot from build 6.2.7930.0.winmain_win8m2.110217-1825. The alleged copy of Windows 8 appears to show a new "restart if required" option prior to installing Windows Updates. As you can seen in the screenshot, Microsoft seems to have added a checkbox to restart the OS after successful installation of essential updates. It is being said that this screenshot is taken from 6.2.7930.0.winmain_win8m2.110217-1825 build, but it would be difficult to get confirmation on this little improvement. |

| Windows Phone 7 Update ‘Brick’ Samsung Phones[How To Fix It] Posted: 23 Feb 2011 09:22 PM PST Some Samsung Windows Phone 7 owners found themselves stuck with 'bricked' phones after installing the latest Windows Phone update, according to WP central. The software giant said on Tuesday that it is "aware" of the issues and is "looking into" recent reports of "bricked" devices. The issues stem from a Windows Phone 7 operating system update issued on Monday. The update, more of a patch, was ironically pushed to improve the platform update process. Microsoft is preparing to issue its first major platform update, codenamed "NoDo", in early March.
A Microsoft spokesperson had the following comment: "In response to this emerging issue, we have temporarily taken down the latest software update for Samsung phones in order to correct the issue." No timescale for a revised update has been given other than it will be available "as soon as possible." The problem as reported seemed to occur at stage 6 of 10 of the update process, and seems to be restricted to Samsung handsets with certain firmware configurations. Affected handsets caused Zune software to display the following error: RESTORATION ERROR An error prevented the restoration of your phone to its previous version. Your phone can't be used in its present condition and there are no restore points for it on this computer. The phone might restart and return to normal if you disconnect it. For further assistance, contact your mobile operator. ERROR CODE To prevent further problems Microsoft has temporarily halted distribution of the update to all Samsung WP7 handsets. If you're one of those affected, here's a possible fix for those with bricked handsets: * Unplug the handset from the computer and place on charge. In the meantime, if you do find yourself in this predicament during the update process, Microsoft recommends disconnecting your device, pulling the battery and putting it back in to reboot the phone. If this fails, owners will need to contact their respective carriers. |
